2.13. Dried Figs

Global production of dried figs in the 2022/2023 season is expected to add up to 149,500 metric tons, up by 4% from 2021/22. The Turkish production, which accounts for over half of the world share, is forecasted at 80,000 MT, up by 7% from the previous season. Significant increments are also expected for Spain (17%), Afghanistan (25%) and Italy (125%).
