3.6. World Prune Production
World prune production totaled around 181,500 MT in 2022/23 season (Figure 15).
nThe USA led world prune production, accounting for 39% of the world share (5-year average). It was followed by Chile, which was responsible for 32% of world production.
nFrance and Argentina were the third and fourth producing countries adding up to 16% and 8% respectively (Figure 21).
