Between 2015 and 2019, 99% of world pecans were exported on average by its major producing countries: Mexico and the USA (Table 6).
The majority of Mexican exports are destined to the USA, which is a one of the greatest producing, processing and consuming countries.
Imports of pecans were mainly absorbed by North America; the USA and Canada accounted for 73% of the world share (Table 6).
