In this 90-minute session, students will hear perspectives on the global shipping crisis from leaders in the industry with Maersk, the world’s largest container shipping company, Mr. Peter Friedmann, Executive Director of the Agriculture Transportation Coalition, the voice of US agricultural exporters in transportation policy, and Mr. Vittavat (Prince) Phonphaisan, Executive Vice President of Heritage Group, Thailand’s leading premium natural food producer and exporter who will discuss the Pacific rim perspective. The panel will also touch on how inflation is disrupting the recovery of the global economy, especially through rising prices in energy, raw materials, packaging and services.
